Activity Description

This course explores the expanding role of optometry in refractive lens and pharmacologic presbyopia correction, emphasizing patient selection, counseling, and co-management. Participants will learn to integrate emerging technologies, manage pre-, peri-, and postoperative refractive outcomes, and support patient education and communication. The program also reviews the role of corneal collagen crosslinking in stabilizing ectatic corneas prior to refractive lens surgery to enhance surgical planning and outcomes.
